Donatella Purple Plaid Beaded Pen Cover Wrap

With a purple plaid design, you gotta give it a trendsetting fashionista-like name. So, Donatella it is. Or maybe because my favorite ninja turtle is Donatello and he wore purple? Either way this plaid design rocking a color palette of purple, white, black, and silver.

I use a needle, super strong One G thread, and a technique called peyote stitch to weave each bead in place, one at a time. This process takes 3-4 hours and the result is a strong yet flexible tube of beads. When the ink runs out, the beaded cover slides off so it can be placed on a new pen.

I chose to pair my beadwork with G2 Pilot Pens because the gel ink is smooth, water resistant, and acid free (archival safe). Perfect for journaling, planners, and more.
