I was sitting on my patio one summer night when I saw fireflies happily rocking their bioluminescence in the courtyard below. On wings of curiosity they glowed about, flashing their special form of communication. I wanted to create a cuff that embodied that same sense of wonder, and chose melon-almost-white reflective beads as the "glow." The color and finish of the travertine style dagger beads added the perfect complement to this luminous design.
Peyote stitch band of black and pale green travertine style daggers with reflective base beads. Hand stitched with double thread to a .75 inch brass cuff covered with black ultrasuede.
